Job Description

Core duties

  • Work closely with the wider recruitment function to support the business with the complete recruitment cycle - owning responsibilities from offer to start.
  • Provide advice and guidance on off payroll working rules (IR35) to the business, vendors and consultants - escalating where required.
  • As a key member of the recruitment function you will develop professional relationships with key stakeholders across the Mastek business
  • Develop & manage effective relationships with preferred suppliers - ensuring compliance with agreed Terms of Business.
  • Support the Global Talent Management Head with recruitment data, ensuring its accuracy.
  • To operate as a crucial member of the UK recruitment team and contribute to the wider recruitment agenda.

Responsibilities & Experience

Vendor Management

  • Complete all required paperwork for New Vendor Empanelment
  • To make sure every Vendor has signed Terms Of Business in place
  • Solving queries raised by agencies with the help of Legal

Contract Management

  • Managing the offer process to new hires & action extensions, terminations, rate increases and renewals
  • IR35 Actions (coordination with hiring managers for IR35 assessment)
  • Providing details Quarterly Intermediary reporting

BPSS for all Employees and Consultants

  • Ownership of the background screening process for new joiners - permanent and contractors
  • Coordinate and assist with Vendors in case of queries
  • Maintaining BPSS Tracker for Audit purpose

Other Actions

  • Assist on the streamline and implementation of new processes for the UK recruitment function as and when required
  • Handle all Yearly recruitment Audits (External & Internal)
  • Co-ordination with the recruitment team & the onboarding team for the smooth start of new hires
  • Maintain recruitment trackers of strategic Data for Audit purposes -providing regular recruitment metrics and data on weekly/monthly/ quarterly basis to PMO / Finance teams.
  • Analysing data, preparing various reports, maintain required trackers, dashboards, PPT, MIS
  • Support to ad-hoc reporting as and when required by the Talent Management Head

The Successful Applicant

Knowledge & Understanding

  • Previous experience working within an Internal Recruitment or agency function - Essential
  • Knowledge of IT recruitment methods & tools used in the UK - Essential
  • Knowledge of best practice recruitment techniques in compliance with UK employment law - Desirable
  • Knowledge of the contracting market & IR35 regulations - Essential
  • Experience of working under pressure & meeting targets and deadlines - Essential
  • Experience of working with external recruitment agencies - Desirable
  • Developing relationship with key stakeholders, building confidence and credibility - Essential


  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels (both verbally and in writing) and to build effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to multi-task and priorities tasks appropriately
  • Able to use initiative to resolve issues and queries independently.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Exercise confidentiality when dealing with confidential business needs & individuals personal details and information
