For 30 years, we’ve worked in partnership with the UK’s financial services sector, enabling them to support over 4 million customers through a comprehensive range of legal services including remortgage services, later life lending and secured and unsecured recoveries.

Having experienced a variety of different law firms throughout my LPC and masters I have found Optima Legal to be like no other.

With little to no divide between senior executives/remortgage experts and assistants, Optima presents an opportunity to learn, develop and progress to a greater extent than I had witnessed before. 

I began my career with Optima as a Customer Service Representative and am now working within the Technical Team supporting the rest of the department with their conveyancing queries.  I am still learning on the job!

I’ve been with Optima Legal for nearly 20 years. I started out on the phones helping customers, became the resident expert on unregistered land, and now am a Supervising Lawyer within the Remortgage Department.

Much has changed over the years, not only for me personally, but also at work. New systems, new location, new clients, new processes – in fact, supporting change is also a large part of what I do.   It’s challenging (I mean hard work!), but the people and being able to share my ideas, positively influence outcomes for clients, and feeling valued is what keeps me here.

I joined Optima Legal as a temp in October 2019 working as an Auditor.

At the time the role was very new, and it wasn’t clear if the idea was going to work long-term. However, I soon began to demonstrate the value of the quality controls we put in place.The role needed me to provide feedback to the teams, liaise with Team Managers and I produced a report for the Operations Director on common themes.

It was a steep learning curve, but I was supported in my journey. I was recently made a permanent member of the Professional Standards team at Optima and have moved up to working as a Compliance Officer overseeing the newly appointed Auditors.
