The main purpose of this varied HR Assistant role is to coordinate HR Administration for 180 Head Office employees and provide generalist HR support to the junior level population. You will get involved in HR Administration, Recruitment, Employee Relations, Training and Development and General Administration within the department. HR Administration: You will be responsible for all payroll administration, coordination of new starters, leavers and changes in employment, sending offer letters/packs, planning of induction timetables and welcome meetings for new starters, administering London Traveller & Season Tickets, being first point of contact with regards to resolving any pay queries, managing the flexible reward process, producing monthly HR stats, coordination of the annual pay review and bonus process, and production of employment and property references. Recruitment: Responsible for coordination of recruitment for all entry level positions, including liaising with Graduate Resourcing to set up interviews and Assessment centres, conducting interviews, placing job adverts on internal and external websites, and monitoring performance of work experience students. Employee Relations: Conducting exit interviews for junior level staff and analyse data to produce summary reports to communicate key themes and proposals into the HR teams. Provide admin support and record all details of Maternity and Paternity leave cases. Training & Development: Support the Senior HR Officer & HR Manager in organising T&D activity such as room bookings, notifying candidates and preparing materials and take an active role in the design and delivery of T&D activity. General Administration: Assist HR Director with adhoc administration and at times, management of their diary. Responsible for managing the purchase order system ensuring that up to date records of the budget are maintained and invoices are paid in a timely manner

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven HR experience and be enthusiastic to learn and develop further within HR. You will have the ability to prioritise effectively, managing a number of tasks simultaneously maintaining excellent attention to detail. You will have a results driven, proactive approach, working on your own initiative with the ability to cope well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. You will also be comfortable building and maintaining relationships with employees and colleagues at all levels.
