The main purpose of the role is to provide effective and comprehensive support and advice to line managers within assigned areas of the business in all aspects of Human Resources to meet their immediate and long term needs.
This is very much a HR Generalist position where you will add value to the business through a HR functionality.
Some duties will include:
Providing quality support and consultancy advice to line managers on employee relation issues.
Deliver a defined, high quality service in relation to all aspects of the employee life cycle.
Provide guidance to ensure that line managers effectively manage the performance of their team members.
Deliver and review modules of the new line managers training courses.
Ensure KPI's are met successfully.
Co-ordinate and review updates or changes to the Employee Handbook.
Support HR Business Partners with ongoing projects.
To support and deliver the company values.
Payroll actions to be completed by month end deadlines
To oversee the management of absence and long-term sick cases, to ensure effective support is given to the business.
To provide and be responsible for full MI information reporting findings to HR Business Partners.
Who we're looking for
If you wish to apply for this role you will posses the following skills and attributes:
CIPD Essential and educated to degree level (business related degree preferred).
Full exposure to a previous HR Generalist position of a similar capacity.
Exposure to multi-site operations with a good commercial focus.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of: Employment Law, HR Policies, Practice, Employee Relations and Change Management approaches.
Be computer literate to a high standard.
An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate and live the company values of: Respect, Winning, Delivery and Commitment.
Flexible work Ethic and a pro-active nature.
