This role involves the active collection of accounts owed by customers, the Department for Work and Pensions and the Veterans Agency. You will be responsible for maintaining customer accounts so that they are up to date and accurate, dealing with queries on payment schemes and investigating outstanding amounts. In addition, you will be required to coach, train and support colleagues within the team and across the organisation. This will require you to build positive working relationships with both internal as well as external customers.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for someone with previous exposure to being part of a busy credit team working to tight deadlines. You will be used to dealing with complex account reconciliations, payment investigations and dealing with telephone queries. Experience of working in a customer service environment would be advantageous as would knowledge of SAP financial systems.
