Mixed Tax Manager

The role will be a mix of corporation and personal tax with a corporation tax emphasis, and requires a high level of tax planning work and ad hoc advisory work.

The role will also involve WIP management and client invoicing for work completed.

The firm has a varied corporate client portfolio mainly consisting of owner managed businesses. Clients are from the following industries: tourism, fashion companies, property investment companies etc. The firm also represent Tommy Hilfiger and Pepe Jeans.

On the personal tax side the firm deal with many high net worth individuals.

The ability to provide a timely , profitable and professional service is essential as well as very strong client handling skills.

Who we're looking for

Successful candidates will ideally be a qualified accountant with ATT and CTA qualifications but this is not essential. Training will be given to candidates who are looking to take the CTA.

Strong IT skills, specifically in Sage Tax products and the Microsoft Suite are a must.

A self motivated attitude is essential for this role.

Ideally you will have extensive experience within mixed tax and have worked in a small-medium sized firm in the past.

The firm will also consider applications from strong seniors who are looking for their first management role and assistant managers who are also looking to become a manager.

For a suitably experienced individual the firm will consider reduced hours or part-time.

Godley and Co is a 2 partner firm of accountants who specialise in Taxation.

The firm is growing year on year through word of mouth referrals and are predicting steady growth over the next 5 years.

Both partners have big firm backgrounds and one of them is the former Chairperson of the Chartered Institute of Tax, Harrow and North London branch and the other is a author of a Tottel business guide book.
