Payroll Clerk

South Manchester University Hospital is looking for a Payroller with NHS experience to join their busy team. Your key duties will be preparing weekly and monthly payrolls, maintaining all documentation and records relating to the payroll and completing all documents relating to the pension scheme. Additionally you will be responsible for expense calculations and helping with the training of junior members of staff and other ad hoc duties.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for someone with experience of NHS payroll. You will require good communication and organisational skills as well as the ability to apply common sense and interpret complex regulations. You will have a good telephone manner, have the motivation to deliver a high quality service and have the ability to compose routine business letters.
It is also required that you have a GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English Language.

What's on offer
There is a competitive salary package on offer. Paying up to £17,700 depending on experience, with an impending pay review and another to take place on 1st April 2006.
