The successful candidate would be responsible and involved in undertaking general accounts work including the reviewing of junior work, management accounts, tax work and other ad hoc project work. In addition would be the managing of audit jobs, incorporating planning, supervision of staff and client liaison. There will also be a need for the successful candidate to attend relevant networking events and take part in prospect meetings when required.
This role would also involve supporting the Director in the management, supervision and monitoring of the staff within the Group, as well as performance monitoring for the Group as a whole.
Who we're looking for
We are currently looking to recruit a professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA) Accounts and Audit Manager. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record incorporating a good level of Accounts and Audit experience, preferably gained in a medium sized firm.
Therefore the ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be self motivated and hardworking and be able to use their own initiative, staff management/supervision experience would be desirable. They should possess good organisational skills and be able to ensure they meet the deadlines set.
