Purchase Ledger Supervisory

The role involves the supervision of a team of 5 purchase ledger clerks, to assist, review and maintain the accounts payable process. The duties will involve:
- Supervising the team, dealing with work levels and staff issues
- Managing the month end and closure of the purchase ledger
- Monthly preparation of statement reconciliation's
- Prepare and adjust journals as required
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have previously managed a purchase ledger department. They will have excellent communication skills and be able to deal with contacts at a senior level. It is imperative that the candidate have excellent knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables and lookups). Sage experience is also preferable but not essential.
