Finance Co-Ordinator

The Finance Co-ordinator role will involve:
- Setting up processes to enable accurate monitoring of project profitability
- Ensuring clients are invoiced in full and in a timely manner
- Providing support and assistance to the Finance Manager and Managing Director during month and year end periods
- Making sure contracts are in place and agreed with clients
- Liaising with Operations Manager and setting up best practice initiatives
- Debt control
- Liaising with manning agents, suppliers, other companies or group office as appropriate, and other parties to ensure jobs are completed to the client's satisfaction
- Organising and controlling manpower movements
- Logistics, i.e. booking flights and accommodation
Who we're looking for
- an organised and self-motivated individual
- good knowledge of written and spoken English (foreign language skills also beneficial)
- sound understanding of Finance practices
- strong process/IT understanding
- experience in a shipping company
- the ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills
