Trainee Accountant

The requirements of this role are as follows:

• Processing weekly Production Hours worked for onward submission to Payroll Bureau
• Preparation of weekly sales report
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
• Preparation of prepayment schedules
• General assistance in Monthly Reporting Cycle
• Preparation of Government
• Statistical returns

The successful candidate will also get exposure to other areas of the Finance programme over time.

In order carry out the requirements of this post candidates must have exposure to the following:

• Accuracy with good attention to detail
• Flexible approach to work
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Highly numerate and literate
• The use of information systems in particular MS Excel
• Ability to prepare and present data
• Ability to work methodically and meticulously
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Demonstrate an understanding of confidentiality
• Commitment to providing a quality service
