European Payroll Specialist

Our European Payroll Specialist will have the following responsibilities:
- Preparing and keying payroll input for submission to the various external payroll service providers
- Reviewing output and preparing all reports / documentation necessary to bring the payrolls to “pre commit” stage
- Preparing monthly contribution schedules for 3rd party vendor items (pension etc)
- Preparing payroll journals for upload to the accounting software
- Preparing variance reports for submission to our head office in the US
- Various associated duties in connection with the regular payroll internal and statutory processing cycle

Who we're looking for
Our European Payroll Specialist will have the following skill set or background:
- Several years payroll experience, preferably within Financial Services
- Exposure to dealing with external service providers
- Experience in all areas of payroll, including year end processes
- An understanding in current statutory legislations
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Highly numerate
