You will be undertaking audit checking for a varied client load, developing your audit skills on regular and complex audits. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for identifying progress of the audit against budget, and raising any potential tax issues for the taxation team.
You will be ensuring that all audits testing is completed thoroughly and accurately. You will have a chance to develop your technical knowledge in company act requirements, corporation tax, consolidations and group transfers, corporate finance and financial services.
You will be working alongside the Rugby team. You will be expected to assist in the development of the business, retaining and winning new business with the calibre of your work.
Who we're looking for
As an Audit Senior you should:
- be able to take responsibility for the entire audit process, from Plan and Budget through to File Completion.
- be thorough and accurate
- be ACCA or ACA qualified, or to have equivalent knowledge
- to have previously undertaken Audit jobs for an accountancy practice.
- have meticulous organisational skills
- possess the ability to maintain client relationships
- be capable of monitoring the work of others and to provide constructive criticism.
- be able to identify potential queries and problems before the event.
