The objective of this role is to supervise and co-ordinate the administration and reconciliation of key Denplan and AXA  funds in line with the daily/monthly payment cycle and to ensure the accurate and timely payment of Insurance Claims.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Payment Day – to ensure that all stages of financial administration are completed in line with the monthly payment cycle and reconciled accordingly. This includes reconciling patient subscriptions, unpaids, adjustments, dentist credits and submission of BACS file to ensure Dentists are paid on the 16th working day of each month.
• To ensure all TPA SLA’s are completed on a daily basis
• All payment processing software is functional, and robust.
• To handle complex queries regarding patient administration, insurance cheque processing, to check reconciliations and ensure AUDDIS files are transmitted on a daily basis;
• To monitor the teams performance and to provide feedback to senior management. To provide staff development activities. To support Gemini objectives;
• To maintain the Accounting Software in the Finance Department and assist with the implementation of new software where necessary;
• To Test the Finance Accounting Package as part of the Companies overall Disaster Recovery, as requested by the IT Department.

The individual will work in the Finance Department but could also interface with a number of individuals across the company. The post holder needs to be able to motivate and develop a  team, whilst being aware of the need for segregation of duties

 

Who we're looking for

The successful candidate will be a highly driven and motivating individual with outstanding communications skills. Previous Ledger Accounting experience in a supervisory context is essential. You will demonstrate leadership ability and also seek to improve processes and procedures where possible. The ideal candidate will come from a corporate environment and posses excellent I.T skills.
