Magic Circle Law Firms demand the highest calibre of candidates that will uphold their values. Both firms are based in London City/EC and are seeing Part Qualified Management Accountants with working exposure within Legal.
Description:
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Providing financial analysis in support of the business·
- To carry out or supervise the reconciliation of general ledger accounts for multiple European entities·
- To provide support to the Finance Manager in the general day to day running of the Finance team·
- To assist in developing the team into a structured and capable function
Key Responsibilities
- On-line real-time visibility of the general ledger accounts in order to spot and trap any anomalies going through during the month.·
- Explanation of the results and any variances against budget, forecast and trend·
- Provision of detailed monthly explanations to the heads of Finance·
- Maintaining detailed staff costs model for forecasting·
- Preparation of monthly commission calculations for payments to sales staff·
- Preparation of adhoc requests for information
Profile:
The successful candidate will have worked within Legal and have working knowledge of the systems CMS or Elite.
Competencies and professional requirements·
- Accounting qualification – Part-qualified·
- Ambition and ability to learn and grow with the team·
- Strong communication skills·
- Ability to work with staff at all levels·
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and the experience to create financial models·
- Willing to get involved with tasks elsewhere in finance function where required ·

What's on offer
The salary on offer for the 6 Month FTC is between £35,000 and £45,000.
