About our client:
My client operates within the construction sector and are a successful local business, who are experiencing rapid growth
Description:
The role will consist of the usual double entry bookkeeping duties;
* Enter cash, cheque, card and BACS customer receipts on to SAGE;
* Reconcile bank and supplier statements;
* Reconcile sales recorded on SAGE to those on bespoke contract books;
* Credit Control duties such as monitoring and counteracting potential slow payers by sending out copy invoices, statements and chase letters etc
* Perform weekly and monthly payroll runs (for two f the three companies)
* Verify sub-contractors with HMRC (for two of the three companies) and monthly online CIS declaration for gross, materials and tax
Profile:
The ideal candidate will;
* Have worked in the construction industry and familiar with CIS payments
* Familiar with double entry bookkeeping
* Strong MS Excel, Sage Line 50 skills
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
