Account Assistant

The company requires an Accounts Assistant from the Automotive industry preferable with usage of the Kerridge System. You will also be familiar with the following:

• To reconcile cash suspense accounts and to clear and post monthly internal accounts.
• To reconcile and control all car deposit accounts on a weekly basis.
• To provide nominal ledger / profit and loss analysis for monthly accounts and auditors, as agreed with your manager.
• To post all new car vehicles invoices and reconcile purchase ledger account V1 and vehicle suspense accounts on the nominal ledger.
• To reconcile and control all vehicle stock accounts and BMW funding accounts.
• To control all vehicle accounts on sales ledger and purchase ledger.
• To assist in the annual vehicle stock checks and reconciliation.
• To identify inefficient current systems and, with your manager, work with other departments to develop improvements.
• To update your manager on a monthly basis by providing nominal ledger and profit / loss analysis.
• To complete balance sheet reconciliation’s each month.
• Any other duties reasonably requested by your manager.

A successful candidate will:

• Have worked in the automotive industry
• Have previous exposure to the system Kerridge
• Have a minimum of 2 years Accounts Assistant experience
• Have experience with Accruals/Prepayments/Accruals and Bank Reconciliation 
• Have had exposure to Profit and loss reporting
• Have assisted with the Management Accounts
