About our client:
The Billing Team, works closely with the fee-earning departments to ensure client bills are issued in a timely manner, that any work in progress (WIP) is followed up on and that billing is maximised on a monthly basis. In addition the team liaises closely with the Credit Control and Cashiers teams, to ensure open lines of communication and work flows across the teams, as appropriate.Description:
As a WIP controller you will assist with all billing related processing at month end and during busy periods; liaising with partners and associates to maximise billing for each department; dealing with ledger queries and credit note requests, as appropriate; chasing outstanding pro forma on a weekly basis; processing all WIP write-offs and transfers for the departments; setting up Elite rates as required.
Profile:
- The successful WIP/revenue controller will have:
- Worked in a legal / professional services environment
- excellent organisational skills, strong communication skills, with an ability to communicate at all levels from senior partners to junior staff
- readiness to challenge fee earners if billing is not happening in a timely manner
- willingness to work additional hours as required, e.g. to meet month end close down deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Elite
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

Part time – 3 days a week. The salary on offer is 30-35K pro rata
