Description:
Working as a Talent & Development Trainer supporting Growth you will deliver training to the following client groups; Direct Sales, Retail Lite, Retail Stores and 3rd Party Retail. This is a field based role covering London and The South East.
- The role is advertised as Home based but you will be required to work out of a local office when not delivering training.
- Any candidate applying for this role will need to be able to stay away from home to deliver residential induction programmes. These inductions typically take place in Gloucestershire and Manchester.
- Working in close partnership with Divisional T&D Business Partners and Central T&D Designers, this role is to deliver & facilitate divisional Learning & Development training interventions
- Manage the experience of delegates using new and cutting edge approaches to delivery methodologies, consistently centred on customer experience, functional technical skills development, product pride & advocacy
- Deliver technical, behavioural and customer experience development programmes, courses and workshops in line with identified needs / business requirements
- Manages own time effectively to enable adequate preparation to deliver course content and supply course material for delegates, against a demanding delivery schedule
- Interface with divisional employees at all levels, prioritising support of managers to drive capability and personal accountability for the learning and development of their people
- Responsible for creation of course bookings, managing delegate invitation and ensuring all delegate records are captured in Ignite in a timely way
- Responsible for administration of training room bookings and management of training room equipment, by taking ownership of it’s care and managing broken/misplaced materials and aid’s
- Engage with the T&D Business Partners & Business Stakeholders where relevant to ensure appropriate divisional fit of designed solutions in order that it meets the needs of all audiences
- Evaluates to Level 4 ROI to improve own performance, setting and implementing clear development plans and demonstrating impact to the business area
- Reviews and discusses feedback with key client groups (the business and BP Leads) to ensure that all outcomes are appropriately captured, and further recommendations made
- In conjunction with the central T&D Designers, support the continual evaluation of all training interventions to maximise future effectiveness of solutions, as well as influencing future designs
- Champions company culture, values and behaviour ensuring that they are reflected in all training delivery
Profile:
You will have demonstrated real energy, passion and enthusiasm for people development and have:
- Experience of delivering training and learning within a complex technical and customer orientated / commercial environment
- Operational and technical knowledge required for delivery of training content
- An extensive knowledge of training delivery techniques, coupled with an appetite to stay abreast of latest learning technologies
- A track record of experience in a customer contact/ field/ retail & sales environment
- An ability to manage and adapt own style to build rapport and maximize learning for different development styles and personality types
- Strong collaborator with a passion for problem solving and results orientation
- High levels of self motivation, bringing enthusiasm and energy to team & peer group
- A track record of working in a high volume delivery role
- Strong team skills with proven ability to work collaboratively
- The ability to live and breathe the company values and demonstrate ‘role model’ behaviors
