Description:
Temporary Income & Systems Assistant in London:
To ensure that billing, accruals / journals and the road traffic accident database are reflected promptly, completely and accurately in the Sales and General Ledgers. Ensure that all regular fixed income and charges are backed up by agreements to pay. Ensure that all systems are interfaced correctly at month and year-end and the integrity of those systems is maintained. To assist the Income and Systems Manager with the day-to-day management and supervision of the Income Clerks. To ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented within the team.
The allocation of work will be made by the Income and Systems Manager and may be changed on either a short or long-term basis as service needs require.
Profile:
In order to be considered for the role of Temporary Income & Systems Assistant all candidates MUST:
- be an AAT Technician / ICM Certificate Level / NVQ level 4 in accounting
- ECDL qualification or equivalent (this will be tested)
- Substantial working knowledge of credit control including direct involvement in all processing activity and system standing data updates
- Previous knowledge of making a contribution towards computer systems implementation or upgrades.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
