About our client:
My client is a large, well established and highly commercial business that is based in Leicestershire. The company is a stable and secure entity that is trading very well and has a positive outlook in terms of financial results for 2012.
They are looking to recruit into a newly created Stock Accountant position due to the growth that they have seen in the last 18 months.
Description:
The role will take on multiple responsibilities including:
- Stock and cost accounting/reporting
- In-depth reconciliation and variance analysis
- Budget calculation and reporting with commentary
- Bank reconciliation, VAT and intrastat work
- Process improvements and project work
Profile:
The successful candidate will either be part ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE with commercial exposure to financial, management and project accounting.
You will possess a solid work ethic with a hunger to succeed. You will be expected to challenge ideas and processes in order to improve processes within the business. You must posses excellent communication skills and be able to use your initiative whilst taking responsibility of your own projects and tasks.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
