Our client has grown rapidly since being established in 2002 and are frequently adding to their Finance & Analysis team. Based in the centre of Oxford our client is opening up an exciting opportunity as a Senior Forecaster for experienced numerical Analysts

Our client is looking for a Permanent Senior Forecaster to join their rapidly growing Finance & Analysis team in the centre of Oxford
Key responsibilities include;
- Model analysis & optimisation of forecasting systems to forecast demand for purchasing and trading of energy
- Analysis of industry models and the implications of industry practise for business hedging and strategy
- Generating reports and analysing business performance
- Analysing risks behind developing new products for the market
- Ensuring pricing tools are accurate
Profile:
- Experience of running projects or coding reports using SQL (or equivalent) is essential.
- Applicants must have strong analytical experience in a relevant field with experience of developing mathematical models
- Applicants would ideally of studied Maths at A level standard and achieve an A grade
- Successful candidates will have relevant Energy Industry Analyst Experience
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
