Horsham • Permanent • £22000 - £25000

My Client is an International Insurance firm dealing with worldwide based Insurance.  They are growing and one of the market leaders being one of Europe’s major insurance groups, with offices throughout the world.  My Client is No. 1 in the health and legal expenses insurance segment and over 50,000 people work full-time for the Group.

Description:

The Role consists of:

  • Maintaining cash books, reconciling to daily bank statements and cash books, posting all bank movements onto SAP
  • Posting cash receipts to Management Accounts and assisting with cash flow forecasting
  • Accounts receivable - Credit control, Monthly debtor reports raising invoices
  • Accounts Payable - Expenses, Claims handling, commission payments and overhead invoices
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Statutory and Regulatory Returns

 

 

Profile:

My Client is looking for someone who has:

  • Knowledge of a Microsoft based accounting system
  • Attention to detail
  • Is able to focus in busy atmosphere
  • A good knowledge of bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of technical accounting

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
