Purchase Ledger Clerk

Birmingham • Temporary - £10.00 per hour

 

Description:

To ensure that purchase ledger transactions and expenses are processed in an accurate and timely manner so that the ledger correctly reflects the company’s position with suppliers, correct expense and supplier payments are made, and that relevant timely management information is provided.

  • Processing purchase invoices – ensuring correct coding
  • Reconciling supplier statements
  • Payment runs – both BACS & cheques
  • Posting/allocating bank payments
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Posting of petty cash (sterling & foreign)
  • Checking and posting of Reps Expenses
  • Provide holiday cover for Metal Invoices
  • Cover for the Credit Control Team
  • Any adhoc duties as are deemed necessary.
