HR Generalist

Description:

  • Design, lead and proactively support organisational change processes in the context of the cultural values and embed the change within the organisation; having an awareness of the need to balance business priorities with managing the emotional impact of change on co-workers at all levels. To carry out any other reasonable request asked by the management team?
  • Focus on the co-worker, ensuring that engaging co-worker communication is treated as a priority by the Functional Managers. To be the initial contact for individual co-worker specific employee relations enquiries.
  • Ensure the proper application and implementation of HR policies and procedures, and unit compliance   with legislation and regulations.
  • Ensure all HR administrative systems are accurate, efficient and compliant with UK audit procedures and the Data Protection Act.
  • Ensure the organisational structure is up to date and all roles are evaluated.
  • Coach your direct reports to ensure they are working in an efficient, lean and simple way in conjunction with the HRSC in order to maximise the efficiency of the department, managing in line with the HR Idea.
  • Support the UK and Ireland HR team in the design, planning and roll out of projects and new initiatives.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for fellow co-workers, customer, visitors and carriers in line with the HASAW Act, Group Risk Manual and the Health & Safety policy. Create a ‘Safety First’ Culture within the HR team, where co-workers are encouraged to raise and discuss concerns and solutions. Ensure all the HR team are regularly trained in Health and Safety to an appropriate level for the role and responsibilities.
  • Utilise relevant tools to include Commercial Review; CSI; Brand Capital and Voice in order to develop the business; yourself and your team.

What's on offer

Salary up to £28,000 plus excellent benefits, ideally you will offer experiences from the retail sector but this is not essential.
