Description:
Located in Swarovski's prestigious new Chiswick Park Head Office and reporting directly into the Credit Manager, the Retail Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
Stores
- Ensure the timely processing of sales onto the accounting system to meet tight and continuous deadline
- Posting daily incoming cash onto the system from the companies’ banking records
- Protecting the companies’ incoming cash-flow through reconciliation of Credit Cards, Debit Cards, cash and AMEX
- Monitoring and investigation of cash losses in conjunction with the Loss Prevention department
- Producing monthly reports on cash losses for management reporting review
- Ensuring accurate recording of petty cash expenditure for management reporting review
- Responsible for the ordering of and maintenance of EFT machines
Concessions
- Ensuring the timely processing of sales onto the accounting system to meet tight and continuous deadlines
- Posting incoming cash onto the system from the companies’ banking records
- Weekly reconciliation of incoming receipts against the sales recorded
- Monitoring and investigation of cash losses in conjunction with the Loss Prevention department
- Producing monthly reports on cash losses for management reporting review
- Ensuring accurate recording of petty cash expenditure for management reporting review
Other Duties
- Reconciliation of Swarovski Crystal Scheme (SCS) income
- Responsible for the banking of and reconciliation of 3rd party and SCS cheques
- Responsible for the reconciliation of credit card income taken
- Providing support to the Credit Manager with the recovery of debt from 3rd party debtors
- Providing assistance for month-end analysis of the debtors ledger for management review
Profile:
Desirable applicants will:
- Have previous exposure within related jobs/areas (i.e. experience in mid-large commercial account receivable function)
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- Have a working knowledge of MS office - Ideally MS Excel
- Have exposure to SAP (desirable)
Remuneration will include a salary between £21,000 - £23,000 plus an excellent additional benefits package.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
