Description:
Located in Swarovski's prestigious new Chiswick Park Head Office and reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Advisor will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all payroll information is collated in a timely and organised manner for the UK payroll
- Preparing, calculating and inputting manual salary changes (payments and deductions), starters, leavers, pensions, National Insurance, SSP, SMP, Student Loans and other requirements as appropriate
- Assisting in the audit check of payroll information inputted by the Payroll administrator
- Producing monthly payroll schedules, reconcile, prepare and arrange payments to pension provider
- Reconciling, preparing and arranging payments to third parties and the production of supporting information as necessary i.e. HMRC, other Government Agencies
- Assisting in the running of the payroll on a monthly basis and to produce cost reports for posting by Finance to the nominal ledger
- Assisting with the monitoring of the payroll database and ensure it is regularly checked for accuracy
- Agreeing payments & obtaining signatures of authorisation and to ensure BACS payments are made
- Mentoring the Payroll Administrator and monitor her main duties and responsibilities
- Working with Payroll Manager in Year-End procedure and also assist with P11D benefits
- Working with the Payroll Manager in the analysis and administration of the annual pay review and bonus
- Assisting in compiling and reconciling month end reports for Payroll/Finance/HR
- Accurately compiling and reconciling the FTE report each month
- Dealing with all telephone & written queries
- Working with Payroll Manager, HR and Finance on any ad-hoc projects
Profile:
Desirable applicants will:
- Have previous exposure within a payroll department (essential)
- Have exposure to computerised payroll (essential)
- Have strong interpersonal communication skills
- Have a working knowledge of MS Office - Ideally MS Excel
Remuneration will include a salary between £25,000 - £27,000 plus an excellent additional benefits package.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
