Trainee Finance Analyst

• Manage daily cash exposure of the business. Preparing future cash forecast position and deposit/request funds when required with the central treasury unit.
• Posting of bank statements, cashbook and manual journals. Ensure monthly reconciliations of all the UK bank accounts.
• Ensure all payments, direct debits, standing orders and transfers have the appropriate backup documentation and the correct levels or approval
• Assist the Treasury Analyst with month end procedures and reporting i.e perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, FX reconciliations, processing and distributing of monthly exchange rate and other month end tasks ready to be reviewed by the Assistant Treasurer and the Treasurer by the required deadline.
• Prepare VAT returns ready for review by the Assistant Treasurer. Produce monthly intrastat report and monthly EC sales list Report to be submitted to HMRC
• Deal with FX Hedging/ Income Hedge programs

• Raw Graduate or a Graduate with experience
• The successful candidate must be willing to study for ACCA
• Previous work experience within an accounting environments will be an advantage
• Good Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Understanding of accounting is desirable
• Demonstrable organizational and analytical skills
• Able to work with accuracy and an eye for detail
