About our client:
My client is a large public sector organisation with offices based across Cornwall. They are currently looking for a Senior Accounting Technician to join their team in central Truro on a temporary basis until the end of March 2012.
Description:
The purpose of the role is to assist the Accountant in providing a high quality financial management and accounting service to a variety of departments within the organisation.
Duties to include: providing financial information to line managers, preparing monthly budgets and ensuring all financial returns as completed.
Profile:
The successful candidate must have:
- Worked within a finance / accounting type role previously
- The ability to maintain, report and present information
- An accounting qualification - AAT qualified would be preferred
- Excellent IT skills - Excel (essential) SUN (desirable)
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
