You would be responsible for:
- Processing and coding invoices onto the accounts system.
- Gaining authorization for payments by liaising with department heads.
- Checking for available discounts where possible.
- Deciding when to pay certain invoices in conjunction with the Accountant
- Matching and sending raised payments with their relevant supplier invoices.
- Processing the payment run (BACS or CHAPS)
- Producing an Aged Credit Report at month end.
- Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
- Processing overheads, expenses and petty cash.
Profile:
Page Personnel are looking for great candidates who have good communication skills and good Excel skills, an ability to perform V-look ups and pivot tables would be desired. Any knowledge of Sage, SAP or other accounting software would also be positive.
Recent, proven and relevant work experience within Accounting is essential. And any professional qualifications would also be preferable.
You must be immediately available to be considered for this role.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
