Buyer

The main duties of the role are as follows;

• Use the Sage software package to undertake small and large orders.
• Liaise with all levels of management.
• Delivering operational procurement of goods and services for both internal and external customers.
• Lead, negotiate and execute the purchase of goods.
• Support the development of a number of process improvements.
• Develop strong working relationships with end users.

The successful candidate must have used Sage in a previous role and will have ideally come from an engineering background. You will be a competent buyer with experience of dealing with both short term and established contracts.

Numerate, commercially astute and an aptitude to work is a small team is key.
