Description:
The key responsibilities for this role will be:
- To chase payments in line with company procedures and record promised payments on JD Edwards System
- To telephone customers with outstanding debts and secure payment on
- To achieve predefined performance targets relating to a target number of calls made; cash collected and debt aging.
- Convert customers to direct debit payment method wherever possible within guidelines issued.
- To provide copy invoices as requested to facilitate prompt payment
- To provide first level support to resolve customer enquiries so as to facilitate prompt payment
- To flag and document more complex customer queries accurately with the appropriate information for action by the branch customer account teams.
Profile:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – good telephone manner
- The successful candidate must be IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE
- Results orientated – able to work under pressure and in a monitored/targeted environment.
- Self motivated, enthusiastic, able to bring a sense of urgency to situations to demonstrate an active approach
- A self starter, promoting personal development - encourages the same in others
- Learning/Change Agility: eagerness to continuously review delivery of services to ensure delivery is always optimum.
- Embraces technology and its advantages – accurate data entry skills
