My client is a respected leader within the Financial sector.
Description:
The role will include:
Processing client payrolls
Reconciling PAYE
Creating new pensioner records
Processing leavers and amendments
Manual calculations of part payments & arrears
Submitting forms to HMRC
Resolving and payroll queries
Validation & submission of year end returns
You will also:
Support the Head of Payroll & Treasury in implementing and monitoring performance improvements
Provide technical / training support to less experienced staff
Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess at least three years payroll / accounts experience and be willing to develop their skills in both areas. You should have a good working knowledge of appropriate legislative and regulatory requirements, keeping up to date with technical developments within the industry.
A relevant professional qualification is desirable but not essential. You should be able to work under pressure and to deadlines, as part of the team and on their own initiative with a professional, proactive and self-motivated approach to their work.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills are essential.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
