About our client:
A major public sector organisation in Bournemouth.
Description:
The role is to assist in the provision of a high quality, efficient financial service. You will be preparing and processing financial information and advising on financial matters relating to all aspects of the department's work.
Your responsibilities will include treasury accounting, reconciliations and reporting. The role includes analysis of expenditure to create reports and forecasts to provide a professional accounting service to managerial level budget holders.
Profile:
The successful candidate will have:
- An accounting qualification
- Knowledge of accounting principles and techniques
- Worked within the public sector previously, preferably within local government
- The ability to provide advise on financial procedures
- Good report writing skills.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
