Having had a successful period of growth, my Birmingham based client is looking to expand their payroll function, and is looking for a Payroll Clerk that can hit the ground running. Their payroll is a combination of over 4000 weekly and monthly workers and it is a fast paced and dedicated environment.
The Payroll team is expected to grow extensively in the coming months, so this is an exciting time to join this expanding organisation.
Description:
Working within their Birmingham office, the role of Payroll Clerk is a pivotal one within this organisation. Based within a busy team, you will be required to assist with processing of up to 4000 workers from start to finish.
Key duties include;
- Monthly and weekly Payroll execution from start to finish
- SSP, SMP, P11Ds, P60s
- Payroll Query Resolution
- Payroll Reporting
- Processing starters and leavers
Profile:
The ideal candidate will have had prior Payroll exposure in a busy function, and will be familiar with completing the payroll from start to finish.
Familiarity with the Sage Payroll system is also an advantage.
As you would expect with a role of this nature, the ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
What's on offer
An excellent salary of up to £19,000 pa is available (dependant on Payroll Skill set) and an attractive benefit package is included.
