My client is a leading UK based bank based in South London.
They specialise in personal insurance over a spectrum of Home, Motor, Pet, Travel and more as well as being the umbrella company of some of the UK's best know household brands. They are rapidly growing and are likely to continue to take market share over the next few years.
Description:
The right candidates will need to have previously worked as a Project Manager where they were responsible for not only finance but also the day-to-day management of the project.
You will have previously worked managing teams of between 6 and 8 analysts and project accountants. Previous exposure to working as a Business Analyst and managing large projects in essential.
Whilst working as a Project Manager you must have also:
- Worked with Business Operations
- Dealt with system changes and testing
- Liaised with departments throughout the company such as Technology, Legal etc
- Assisted various Test Managers
- Dealt with the various financial issues
- Dealt with the General Ledger
The role will also consist of dealing with the General Ledger, data warehousing, systems architecture, data flows, data models and data-interface design therefore you need to have had exposure to such tasks.
Profile:
Ideally you will be Prince 2 qualified and have used the Oracle system. Candidates ideally will have worked within an Insurance or Financial Service environment. Knowledge of FSA regulations particularly from a reporting aspect is necessary for this role along with exposure to the Matrix management arrangement.
You need to have recently worked in a similar positions and you must be immediately available or on no more than 1 weeks notice.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

We are offering a highly competitive daily rate which will be discussed during the telephone interview.
The role is looking to start immediately and will be running for 6months- 1year.
