About our client:
A large newly formed Public Sector organisation.
Description:
The role is to ensure standing financial instructions are adhered to in processing all transactions and all tasks are performed on an accurate, timely basis and general ledger postings are appropriately controlled, accounts accurately reflect income and expenditure incurred and that all control accounts are reconciled monthly and cleared on a timely basis.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the production and processing of all finance interface files, ensuring audit trail reports are produced for accounting activities and that exception reports are produced as necessary.
Profile:
All applicants must be actively studying towards a recognised CCAB qualification. Essential skills include:
- Excellent IT skills, including Advanced Excel, Business Objects
- General Ledger / Control Account Reconciliations
- VAT knowledge
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
