About our client:
My client are a subsidiary of one of Peterborough's best known employers. They are a new set up and have the backing of a large plc business. My client are an ambitious entity with plans to become the fastest growing company within their sector. As such, they now have a requirement for a Management Accountant.
Description:
As the Management Accountant you will be reporting in to the Group Financial Controller and be expected to perform the following duties:
- Timely reporting of Management Information to relevant parties
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Monthly forecasts
- Accruals & Prepayments
- Managing the fixed asset register
- Stock control
- Vat return and other statutory papers
Profile:
We require a candidate who has previously held a position in a Management Accounts capacity. You will be able to forge strong relationships throughout the business and be used to hitting strict deadlines. We require somebody with a keen interest in a commercially focussed start up business who will constantly look to improve processes. Ideally studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) you will be confident in your approach and posses strong systems skills.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
