Our client is running a huge nationwide project from September 2010 - September 2012, which has a massive corporate profile. The organisation is searching for a committed candidate to join there strong finance team in Manchester. the role reports into the Head of Finance and is working within a team of 10.
Description:
This is a diverse Assistant Accountant position, working on a large prestigious project.
- Management of the purchase, sales and general ledger
- Inputting and processing purchase invoices
- Paying suppliers
- Allocating incoming cash
- Cash flow monitoring and forecasting (Microsoft Excel based)
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Bank reconciliations
- Recording and tracking of fixed assets
- Reconcile designated balance sheets
- Flash update reports on project performance
Profile:
This is a diverse position and the client requires someone with recent and relevant experience in the following fields:
- Hands-on experience in transactional finance (Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and General Ledger)
- Successfully delivered on customer agreements or to tight deadlines
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in monthly management accounts production
- Analysis of costs and income - including reporting.
The client ideally requires someone to be AAT Qualified and/or actively studying CIMA / ACCA.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
