Description:
A Diverse Analyst position, reporting into Divisional Financial Controller and the Commercial Director.
The department currently receives large volumes of data from both external sources and internally all areas of the business. The key requirement of the role will be to understand this data in order to manipulate this and present it in an understandable and summarised format.
Working in a small team with wide responsibilities – you’ll always be involved in several tasks at once. On top of this a number of the daily, weekly and monthly departmental reporting requirements are to be produced to extremely tight deadlines. Your ability to manage your workload effectively and react quickly will be paramount to being successful in the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure all diarised reports are completed accurately and distributed to the correct distribution lists
- Ensure that all scheduled reports are completed and distributed within the timescales agreed
- To work with the key business stakeholders and understand any potential issues facing the business and implement control reports where required
Profile:
Key skills / experience required:
- Ability to manipulate large volumes of information
- Ability to work within a team, both with other department members and other parts of the business
- Advanced Excel and MS Access Skills
- Good knowledge of other MS Office apps such as SQL Server, Word and Powerpoint
- Knowledge of Oracle and other reporting solutions are advantageous
