Purchase Ledger Assistant

About our client:

My client are a very successful Organisation based in Huntingdon who import and distribute a specialist product.

Description:

The Purchase Ledger clerk will be required on a part time basis. Reporting to the financial controller you will be expected to match, batch and code all invoices. You will take ownership of the payment cycle and ensure suppliers are paid in due course. Your role will be governed by the needs of the small finance team therefore may involve some ad-hoc projects

Profile:

The Purchase Ledger clerk will be looking to take on a part time role with hours to be arranged by the successful candidate and the financial controller. You will, of course, be able to demonstrate previous working history gained in a Purchase Ledger capacity. You will be IT literate and have a particular understanding of Excel. You will also be able to fit in to a small, professional and fun loving team.    

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

What's on offer

A salary of between £18,000 - £20,000 (pro rata) based on hours worked
