Large FMCG business
Description:
- Providing transactional HR support across all processes
- Supporting all businesses across UK
- Support internal client groups
- Liaising with external suppliers
- Actively and independently provide advice and information to employees on HR policies, processes and procedures.
- Advises employees on routine work related issues outside of HR service centre enquiries.
- Participates in process improvement initiatives as required, providing input into core HR processes
- Serves as central contact for the annual Salary Review & Bonus process and manages the data validation piece within this process.
- Supports ER activity by acting as note taker in complex cases and providing logistical support to the HR Manager involved.
- Manages the quality of all employee data and maintain records in HR systems to ensure entries are updated for payroll and other key HR processes whilst ensuring that monthly deadlines are met.
- Management of records retention process; filing and archiving.
- Act as the in-business HR point of contact for the HR Service Centre and responds to escalated issues.
- Participates in projects as required
Profile:
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to understand route cause of issues and effectively problem solve
- High level of expertise in standard Microsoft packages ie word, excel, powerpoint
- High level of expertise in HR systems
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Strong analytical skills and sound knowledge of reporting tools
- Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills
- In depth customer service orientation
- Knowledge and understanding of UK HR Policies and Procedures
- Proven administrative experience ideally within a HR department
- Previous experience as an HR Assistant or equivalent within a HR shared services model
