About our client:
This is a well established organisation who operate in the financial services sector.
Description:
- The primary tasks encompassed in this role are:
- Develop, maintain and improve operational and financial MI
- Support the preparation of monthly financial data, working closely with the Finance Manager and Financial Accountant.
- Supply data and reconcile amounts due to key suppliers
- Proactively monitor and review controls for breaches and effectiveness. Investigate and propose solutions (IT and operational) to possible areas of risk.
- Provide a point of expert reference on reporting, the data used and the layout of information to the business
- Investigate and question any discrepancies in the MI and KPIs being used
- Pro-actively suggest new information that would aid the Claims Department to be more efficient, productive and meet KPI’s
- Work with Claims Department Management Team to maximise efficiency within all areas of the Operation
- Point of contact for operational employees relating to banking and other financial Provide timely and accurate information
Profile:
- Quick and flexible learner with an aptitude for new processes, technologies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Good IT Skills.
- Able to quickly understand areas of control risk
- Ability to quickly digest detailed and complex information
- Motivated and passionate about delivering a quality product
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative with an aptitude and ability to negotiate and influence.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening across all business levels.
