Retail Assistant Accountant

Key finance role which will work closely with the Finance Manager and Management Accountants.

You will be responsible for managing the Fixed Asset register, retail sales reconciliations of all stores, credit card reconciliations, reconciling multi currency bank accounts, preparing VAT, responsible for petty cash, month end reconciliations and ad hoc finance duties.

This is a high profile role where you will be liaising with senior people across the company, it will give you great insight into the retail industry and exposure across a fast paced finance team.

We are looking for a high calibre candidate, who has a commercially minded outlook and approach and has a can do, determined attitude.

It is essential that you are a CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified candidate with previous exposure to a month end / reconciliations role.

Retail exposure would be a huge advantage, or working within a similar high profile, fast paced industry.

You will have strong academics as well as good excel skills and be an excellent, first class communicator.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
