Description:
A varied role with the opportunity to offer a trainee Accountant a wealth of experience within the accounts team. In this commercial, financial role the chosen candidate will be liaising with not only the finance team but also the Marketing and Sales departments and must have the following experience:
- Pricing Analysis
- Product and Brand profitability and pricing
- Constructing price analysis for company products to be bought and sold
- Liaising with Sales and product suppliers across the UK to promote team business plans
- Budgeting and Accounting
- Main point of contact for finance in monthly meetings with Sales, Operational and Marketing departments.
- Support monthly close, quarterly forecast and annual planning processes
Profile:
This position would suit a recent graduate who is in the certificate or operational level of CIMA and has experience of dealing with multiple business departments (Marketing, Sales, Operational). Study support is provided.
The ideal candidate must have high sufficiency in excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and have experience of working with commercial non finance based departments.
The successful candidate will be motivated to progress as well as being able to assimilate new information quickly. Experience in all areas of the role is not as essential as the ability and willingness to learn and develop.
