Description:
This role takes full responsibility for ensuring the proficient management and operation of a large Credit Control team consisting of 10 members of staff based at the Head Office in Liverpool. The team provides a professional and high quality service to the UK Domestic and Export businesses but also supports overseas finance functions in Holland and Mauritius. This role is responsible for strategically developing the function in line with best and latest practice ensuring the smooth integration of acquisitions made by the Company. The role is supported by two Accounts Receivable Supervisors who manage the team on day to day issues. The department controls a sales ledger balance of £87 million and this position holds a pivotal role in the minimisation of the working capital of the company through continual liaison with all parts of the business Creating, reviewing and improving company procedures in line with best practice.

· People management skills· Team player· Ability to build relationships and influence· Strong communication and interpersonal skills· Proactive approach· Drive to instigate change· Comprehensive understanding of credit control· Comprehensive understanding of a credit insurance policy, renewal process and risk in an international environment.· FMCG experience essential.
· Constantly keeping up to date with regulatory change
· Must be proficient in SAP ECC5.
