Cash Control Team Leader

Our client is a busy an exciting organisation in the heart of South East London. They are part of a FTSE 100 Financial Service organisation and are a global leader in their field.
They offer both personal and business based insurance and over the last 50 years have expanded into one of the largest UK Insurance providers, as well as the umbrella company for some of the UK's most well known insurance brands.
Description:
The role will be conducting the following tasks and will require candidates to have previously worked in a similar role.
- Reporting into the Cash Control Manager
- Dealing with bank related activities
- Dealing with cheque, bank live, and electronic payments
- Enquiring and checking stops made on payments
- Dealing with KPI's
- Managing a team of between 8 and 13 people in a busy environment
- Dealing with appraisals, recruitment, off shoring and restructuring
The candidate will need to be able to multi-task and juggle a heavy work load while managing a large team. Their primary role will be to ease the workload of the Cash Control Manager and assist them with their duties.
Profile:
The right candidate will have previously worked in a highly pressurised and busy environment- managing or supervising a large team.
The candidate MUST have been in charge or been actively assisting with the transfer of the accounts procedure off shore. As well as this the candidate needs to have managed the recruitment and redundancy process of the team.
Ideally the right candidate will have dealt with off-shoring within the Insurance sector and will have transferred the Cash Control process- However this is not necessary as long as the candidate has recently been involved in the off-shoring an accounts function.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
What's on offer
The position will be paying between £200 and £250 per day depending on the candidate. Candidates must be immediately available to start or interview, candidates who are not will not be considered for this role.
