About our client:
Working within the education sector. We are recruiting for an organisation which is under going a number of structural changes. As a result they are currently looking for a bursar to assist for a 2 year contract assignment.
Description:
Responsible for running the finance function including checking and verifying all accounts from the finance manager
Responsible for the premises and managing the maintenance manager and the budget
Responsible for the Health & Safety within the school and ensuring all legislation is complied with.
You will also be assisting with the HR side of the business and may be asked to get involved with various systems/I.T concerns/projects.
Profile:
We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge. This is working on a 'turnaround' project and you must be willing to take control and be heavily involved in driving this project forward.
Ideally you would have worked as a Bursar previously or have real transferable skills to enable you to take this position on.
Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
