About our client:

Our client is a national brand and an industry leader in their field. As a popular employer in the Poole/Bournemouth area, opportunities to work for this company are very much sought after, and therefore they demand high quality candidates. Their entire finance function is centred in the Poole offices, and is split into several departments. The Transactions Controller position is within the Treasury.

Description:

As Transactions Controller, your responsibilities will include (but not be restricted to) checking and reporting on incoming bank reconciliation from branches across the UK, and auditing or investigating any discrepancies that may occur.

In addition, all expenses come into the Poole offices, so you will be checking that all incoming expenses are in line with the company's expenses policy.

You will also be expected to perform various additional accounting duties, similar to that of an accounts assistant role.

Profile:

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes to be a successful Transactions Controller:

  • AAT Qualified or currently studying AAT
  • Some traditional accounts experience is preferred to banking experience
  • An excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable/Experienced in dealing with high monetary values.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
