Accounts Assistant

York • Permanent • £17000 - £17000

 

About our client:

Our client is an rapidly expanding not for profit organisation based on the outskirts of York.

Description:

This role is for a minimum of 12 months. Reporting directly to the Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Processing sales orders and invoices
  • Processing purchase orders, invoices and expenses including cheque. BACS and credit card payments
  • Credit Control
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Dealing with internal/external accounts enquiries and information requests

Profile:

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to commit to a minimum of 12 months and be able to start immediately.

 You will be able to work as part of a team and have a positive approach in your work. You will work to the highest standards and show excellent attention to detail.

You will play a key role in providing an effective accounts processing service for our client.

Having worked in a similar role in the past would be advantageous.

Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.

What's on offer

£17000 per annum plus excellent benefits including 30 days holiday per annum (plus 8 bank holidays)
